The brand is the reason Chance the Rapper & Logic are able to sell out shows, Both of them have a unified message, personality or story that millions can relate to. What they both do with this message is important, It’s everywhere! whether it’s a song, Interview or show, Their message is something you can find in everything they do. Of course, this is something that may change through out their career but it will never be something that isn’t true to them.
As a new artist it is important to pay close attention to your brand and the way you want to be received, The easiest way to do this is to stay true to yourself and speak your truth. Here are Three tips on creating your brand

#1. Stand Out

No one artist is the same, so it is important to find what makes you different. This all begins with self awareness and Because no single person is like another it is important that your fans know who you really are and what set you apart from the rest.

#2. Have a Clear Vision

Write down your mission and the impact you want to have on the world. Read this mission statement as often as you need and make sure everything you do is predicated on making this vision come true. Whether your goal is to reach the dizzy height of Jay- Z, and Rihanna or to just move your mother into her dream home, stay true to that from day one.

#3. Logo

Creating an eye-catching logo that your fans can identify with is a major key. Once you have done some soul searching find a logo that best identifies you. Spread this logo on your social media platforms, Business Cards and Merch.

Bonus Tip: Give merch away!

Your Brand will be the thing that millions will cling to, so a Logo that represents their favorite part of you will lead to a ton of sold merchandise. The fans who wear this merchandise will then lead to their friends following and wanting to rep your brand. The more your logo is out of there the better.
