“Liberalism is Slavery”

This was a headline I came across as I surfed the web this morning. Obviously it is an attention-getter and yes I read it. It was an interview with Clarence Mason Weaver — a former Black Panther — having a candid conversation about issues from his perspective.

Weaver defined liberalism by saying it —

“…destroys people, like a drug dealer, a pimp who manages you and wants to keep you down. Liberalism is slavery, always has been and always will be.”

You can’t help but agree with him if you take a moment to look at everything the liberal has promised people and how they have not delivered upon it and how it DOES NOT help people.

There is even a Facebook meme that highlights this fact as well.

The liberal will give you the facade of free choice — as long as you agree with them.

Anyone who has casually read or watched something news related — much less something related to the current election — can tell you without fail the liberal position on each issue posted on the meme.

Think about it.

• Wealth
• Guns
• Abortion
• Same Sex Marriage

Got them all, didn’t you?

Even as I wrote about here, Malcolm X figured out that the liberal Democrat has no interest in helping people — back in the 1960's. He realized that they are only interested in controlling people to be a “slave” to their political party. (You can listen to the full audio of the speech here.)

People need to realize that with all of the “marvelous” programs to help people. Wouldn’t the logical conclusion be that at some point they would no longer be needed?

Seriously, if the liberal program helps people out of poverty — obtain a better life in general — then why are these programs still around? Much less receiving an automatic increase in funding from the federal government each year.

It creates a culture of dependence. Liberalism must have people dependent on them for them to maintain their political/social power. They want to enslave people and treat them like property. No, I am not making this up.

It was part of their platform for the 2012 election.

You are a slave to liberalism. Is that how people think of themselves? Well, liberals do — that is why they are liberal.

Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. (Source)

But if you look at the number of people who are enrolled in those “marvelous” programs — the numbers have gone up ever since their inception. If you look at the costs of those “marvelous” programs, the costs have gone up ever since their inception.

A liberal can never identify a single government program that has worked. They will provide you with individual stories — but nothing on the wholesale level. The government is not the solution. It IS the problem.

To the liberal, you can do nothing beyond their limits. That was the real point of “The Great Society” — enough to satiate you, but not enough to make your life actually better, In fact, if you try to be successful, you will be punished because it is actually more beneficial for people NOT to work than to work. (Remember Obama and the “Life of Julia”.)

If controlling people who are dependent upon you for their very survival is not slavery, then you need to go back and learn what slavery really is.

Does this not remind you of the food stamp program? Enough to keep you alive, but not enough to thrive. What about the part where the person examines the poor soul to make certain he meets the requirements? Any idea as to how many requirements there are to be a part of a government assistance program? Short answer — a whole lot!
