The Politics of Stupidity — The Donald Trump Version
Why Some People Just Won’t Get “It.”

I was going to write the other part to my “The Stupidity of Politics” article but sometimes you have to reply to the “stupidity” you find others putting forth as “rational discourse.” This is the statement I am referring to —
Ask yourself why you care about Donald Trump. Does his candidacy create hate or only give it a vehicle by which it can be expressed? Which is more important, the root cause of that hate or the way in which it’s being expressed? Ask Trump supporters why they are giving him their vote. What policies do they identify with? How do they feel about his views on women and Muslims?
We need to break this statement down in order to have a more substantive conversation. So, let’s begin —
Ask yourself why you care about Donald Trump.
The real problem with this question is that you are not really interested in why people care about Donald Trump. Liberals look for a reason to not only demonize Donald Trump, but the individual who had the temerity to actually answer your question and state why they do care.
Besides, if you do not know why people care about Donald Trump as a candidate, then you need to take off the ideological blinders and actually listen to the words coming out of people’s mouths.
Does his candidacy create hate or only give it a vehicle by which it can be expressed?

Do you find it funny that anytime someone disagrees with a liberal that they either refer to it as racism, bigotry, or hate? So, what is today’s definition of ‘hate’? Because odds are — it has changed from yesterday’s.
Which is more important, the root cause of that hate or the way in which it’s being expressed?
Based on the way the question the question is worded the obvious answer is the way in which it is expressed. Because to say the root cause of hate — well liberals would not want to have that mirror they are trying to hold up to be turned around on them.
So where is the condemnation for this expression of hate solely based on race?
I mean — really. Killing ‘babies’ is OK with you?
How about this one?
A protest that was based on the lie — “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot.” Do you really want to talk about hate? Or do you want to talk about your definition of hate?
Because it does not end there —
So much hate directed at people who had nothing to do with the shooting, the verdict, or anything. His hatred sparked millions of dollars in destruction. Do you want to talk about that as well? Or is that justified?
What about Oakland? Baltimore? New York City?
What about the Occupy Wall Street protesters filled with so much hate that they caused the very people to claim to be helping their very jobs they used to live and support themselves?
So much hatred out there, are you sure you want to talk about that too? Or do you just want to demonize Donald Trump as the ‘enemy’ of the month?
Ask Trump supporters why they are giving him their vote.
Ask Clinton supporters why they are giving her their vote? I would love to see how they can explain the whole Benghazi thing. Or how her explanation is right about the so-called Republican ‘war on women’ when her own husband has no respect for women? How the Obama White House paid their female staffers less than males who held the same position?
How about asking the Sanders’ supporters to explain what socialism really is? How is actually works?
Hell, they really don’t know who he is.
What policies do they identify with?
Still waiting to see if anyone can actually tell me how Sanders is going to raise $20 trillion in new taxes by solely raising taxes on the rich. Oh wait —
That is a payroll tax on EVERYONE — to pay for paid medical leave. It does not end there.
He will raise taxes — on EVERYONE — to pay for healthcare. I am wondering if I need to continue so we could educate the Sanders’ supporters on how you are going to get screwed if you have a job and how the country is going to get screwed if you don’t.
Now as for Clinton — Does she even have an original idea? Everything I have heard her say is Obama 2.0. Wouldn’t that mean she thinks Obama was a failure in fulfilling all of his lofty goals?
Now I challenge the author of that piece (or any liberal, progressive, etc.) to identify something Hillary Clinton, …is promising people (regardless of color) that Obama did not already promise.
Where is that liberal backlash against Obama? Wait — there was not one even though she is proposing the same things he did.
How do they feel about his views on women and Muslims?
How about Clinton’s? I mean her husband is either a sexual predator (Monica Lewinsky and others) and/or a pervert (Orgy Island — with underage girls) depending on the day of the week and the source of the news you have read.
Make certain you include this when you want to talk about Donald Trump. I am pretty certain that one of those examples is illegal. Can you figure out which one?
As for Muslims — people need to wake up and smell the coffee. Stop making excuses. There is a website that has taken it upon themselves to catalog the Muslim terrorist attacks that can be documented since 9/11. (It is so long that they had to break it out into smaller lists to make it easier to read.)
But those are extremists, you say…
Well, the lists keeps growing as Muslims seem to NOT be interested in stopping the ‘extremists.’ Or are they really the norm in that religion?
Update: I just noticed that the author who provided the original quote has deleted his story.
