Is Target Still Target If It Looks Like A Department Store?

I highly doubt this change is because Target wants to make sure patrons can get in and get out with only what they actually need. If anything, it sounds like they’re trying to make the process of binge shopping feel somewhat more pleasant/nice to do.

But I’d also like to counter my own argument here for a second with why would Target want to be designed more like a department store? Aren’t department stores becoming a way of the past?
