First, I am a registered Democrat who works to elect other Democrats here in Florida. No easy feat when the party doesn’t help out AT ALL. Red county. They don’t support us to help keep these all Rs running unopposed. Do not question my support for the party.

Second the idea that Sanders supporters won’t vote for HRC if she’s the nominee? Is pretty ridiculous among registered, active Democrats.

Why Australia matters. Because as a Constitutional Representative government with states and state’s rights — they’re more similar than different. More similar than the UK or Canada to the Us that is. Living there helped me see how things can be done that *benefit* the people of the US of which I am a citizen with children old enough to vote in the US too. I’m not so arrogant to think we in the US cannot learn from other industrialized nations. Are you? BTW both of my adult children voted for the first time - for Obama — they’re exactly 4yrs apart in age.

If you want people to take you seriously do away with talking points like ‘will you support HRC as the nominee’ WILL YOU support Sanders if he is the nominee? Probably, right? Stupid question.

The problem with HRC as a viable candidate — despite her polish and better campaign than in 2008 is the vitriolic hate that follows her. Remember, need more than the base to win. Need to stop insulting the base if you want them to WORK for you. [and I was asked back in 2012 but was busy with the President's campaign and said no, thanks but no] My volunteers are young, active voters, active in local politics, active in GOTV; none of them are interested in working for HRC if she’s the nominee. They’ll vote for her in the General but that’s it.

Also important to remember; 2014 Florida floated a known name too Crist. Went over like a lead balloon. Today’s political climate is rejecting names that have any recent connection to the White House or have run previously for the office. McCain? RMoney? It didn’t work for them; it didn’t work for Florida and I do not see it working for Clinton either.
