Why Charlie Lee sold his Litecoin
I think this needs to be clarified for the community as its widely used as an attack on Litecoin and Charlie Lee.
To first answer this question you need to better understand Charlie Lee, Charlie is an MIT graduate who was successful before developing Litecoin, why is this important? Charlie Lee isn’t driven by money, he’s driven by a passion to better the world.
For traditional investors and new comers Charlie Lee not holding Litecoin may come across as him not believing in his project but the truth couldn’t be more opposite. He doesn’t want Litecoin to be HIS project, he wants Litecoin to be a decentralized project for the community run by the community. If he holds large amounts of coins people will blame him for manipulation, by him selling those coins Litecoin automatically becomes more fairly distributed (more than bitcoin).
Charlie Lee is devoted to Litecoin but this time he’s doing it without pay!
Why did he sell at the top? It was a technical top, many of us were watching this for some time & old holders knew to sell around $320.
This is why Charlie Lee sold his Litecoin
