Yeah, I’m 16 years older than you, so there may be a difference in perspective there. To me, a, “Kids movie,” is one written for and aimed at an audience under 13. Neither the original nor this one would qualify. They’re certainly movies that kids can enjoy, but they’re probably just as enjoyable (if not moreso) to adults since a lot of the dialogue, jokes, and subtext can only be truly understood by adults.
