Social Media in Hip Hop
Jordan Raulerson

Jordan, I thought your post was great! I especially liked the part at the end when you mentioned that “Everything an artists posts on social media shapes the way the public views them; this can be used to their advantage if used properly.” This is so true in regards to celebrities and toward regular people. Now, anyone with access to the internet can become famous or promote their own ideas and influence people to do certain things. I agree that if you are a celebrity you are using social media to promote yourself and you are basically following the rule, “any publicity is good publicity.” Maybe artists should think harder about the image they want to portray and think about whether, as you stated, they want to be infamous or famous.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
