San Telmo Market

Were you ever? It is a typical and traditional markets that locals still standing in the city.

The market was opened in Feb. 1897, was the forerunner of José Ocantos entrepreneurship and building design was led by the Italian architect Juan Antonio Buschiazzo.

His intriguing and historic steel structure surrounds us and attracts walk its halls with lovely stalls and small cafes, antiques, spices, among others.

In 2000 it was declared a National Historic Landmark by the Secretary of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires.
