Nope. I have just found myself alone in quite alien cultures (Thai, Japanese, Colombian, Indonesian) where I had to quickly adapt to local customs and behavior. I also teach Intercultural Communication, and have long observed how ethnic groups mix and adapt (or do not) in an unfamiliar environment.
