That’s a fair point. I would like to point out that the Russos played well with juggling multiple characters in their shows, and they did also followed the script when asked. To take a sports quote: they decided to “trust the process.” Lord and Miller were doing a lot of improvisation that ticked off the higher ups, among other things like them not being able to handle the large crew and staff (which would probably be overwhelming to anyone who hasn’t done it before). That being said, this is my position. I want to see them on a different film before reconsidering Star Wars. For now, though, I really want to see them do Flash or, even more so, PLASTIC MAN!
