I took tai chi lessons at two intervals in my life. I was a really poor student, as I never ever practiced at home. :) But, I too have a tai chi lesson that changed my life. The way my teacher explained wu chi posture was groundbreaking for me. I felt myself standing there, so grounded and rooted that no one could knock me down, and I really felt that. It wasn’t just a physical lesson. I carried it around with me everywhere after that. When things or people are getting crazy around me, I just stay perfectly grounded, unmoving. I won a court case this way. Instead of fretting the night before about how I would act, I simply acted completely calm and grounded. It was a complete victory.
