July 12th — Student Account Fundraiser Car Wash at the Huntington Road Firehouse in front of BHS 9am-3pm. Students can sign up for 2 hour shifts from 9-11, 11-1 or 1-3. Please e-mail Kim Rader at herstang@sbcglobal.net with the shift you are interested in working. Multiple shifts can be worked!
July 12th — Monthly Can and Bottle Returnables Drive at the Eli Whitney bus drop-off area 9am-noon. This drive occurs every second Saturday of each month, rain or shine! We will need lots of extra help to sort all the recyclables from the Independence Day holiday! Please, if you can come and help sort out the returns (even if its just the ones you are dropping off) it would be appreciated. Students and siblings are welcome and will receive volunteer hours for their time. Also, a big thank you to Andrew Velasquez (student), Carrie Rodrigues, Lili Fischer, Rhenita Hatcher, Chris Fresilli, Rick Mosley and John Castellanete for coming to the rescue when we needed help at last month’s drive.
