First of all thanks for reading the article. I think you were under the wrong assumption that I am somehow pleased with the way the Republicans have handled the healthcare situation, I am not. You are correct, they had eight long years to come up with a decent plan, and they did absolutely nothing. My suggestion to the Democrats still stands, if they want to fix their baby, Obama Care, work with the Republicans. Exclaiming to the country that PEOPLE WILL BE MURDERED BECAUSE OF THE REPUBLICANS helps absolutely no one. If the ACA isn’t collpasing under it’s own weight, why do insurance companies continue to pull out? 31 percent of counties will have just one insurer this year. This means less competition which means worse healthcare for people. Not to mention the continually rising premiums in multiple states. It’s just too expensive. The ACA was a smash success in the sense that it changed America’s expectation of healthcare, which was probably the only goal all along.
