I think there’s a natural desire for us to seek out order in the increasing entropy of the universe, for fear of turning into some Lovecraftian character driven mad by it all I guess?

A future of systems that make complex and organic decisions on our behalf (with the appropriate, dumbed-down-to-our-level explanations for said decisions) seems like an inevitable conclusion here, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Really it seems like the only way forward.
