Week 5 GAM111
This week disaster struck. I decided to go against a game that used puzzles and lifting blocks, instead i wanted to continue on from the level i started with. I wanted a platforming game where the player had to climb over everything, and have to jump from moving platforms and falling platforms.And all of it with a timer so the player had to get through it quickly.
So this week I started to create a second and third level, so my game would have at least three levels to play with. The second played more with the mechanic of gravity, instead of platforms there were Spheres that the player could run all over. I wanted to drive home that the player could climb over everything. So the second level consisted of 4 spheres and a few platforms, the player was meant to jump onto the sphere and then from the sphere onto the platform, until the reached the end.

The third level had more platforms in it. I had used Youtube to find out how to make moving platforms that moved left and right and from there made them move up and down. the next sort of platforms I wanted were falling platforms that I also looked up how to make.

With the levels coming top to fruition I made little collectable items, which the player collected adding to their score. I also researched how to make checkpoints and a timer so the player would be able to die and not have to restart the whole level again.
