BK: Let’s get this AMA started! Welcome, Jenny and thank you for joining us today. I hope you enjoy this AMA session with the MGen community! To start with, could you please share your background and your journey in NFT.
Jenny: It was really nice connecting with you again this evening. I completed my studies in art and design in 1992. I’ve held 18 solo exhibitions to date. I’ve participated in several group exhibitions including those in New York, Sydney, London, Amsterdam and Berlin.
BK: Wow, 18 solo exhibitions. And where are you now currently?
Jenny: I’m based in Mumbai, India.
BK: Which was your most exciting moment in your past years?
Jenny: My work has been included in auctions across the world, including those by Christie’s several times which was the most exciting moment.
BK: We understand you have so many solo exhibitions, when and where were the exhibitions held?
Jenny: In 2005, I was awarded ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ by the Indo-American Society.
2008, I participated in an artist residency program at the School of Visual Art in New York, followed by a program in Animation as a Fine Art Medium.
2010, my work was accepted by the Drawing Center, New York, in its Viewing Program.
2015, I participated in a Character Art and Design Residency in Berlin, where I was one of 38 artists selected out of 30 countries.
2016, my work was exhibited at the Santorini Biennale, Greece.
BK: We also heard that you are more than an artist!
Jenny: I’ve written on art, humor and spirituality in publications including The Times of India group, DNA and Verve magazine. My poems have been published in the literary journals including The Little Magazine and The Brown Critique. I’ve illustrated 9 children’s books and wrote a book on humorous art in 2010.
BK: What else?
Jenny:

In 2017, I released the MokshaShots Comic Book as part of my solo exhibition at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai India.
BK: Can you tell us when did you start your journey in NFT?
Jenny: I started my NFT journey in September 2021. My genesis NFT was collected by Ishita Banerjee within few hours of minting. Was a great start for me!
BK: Where are you NFT minted?
Jenny: I’m currently minting on Open Sea, Kalamint and WazirX. I’ve received a Foundation invite and been accepted into Async Art as well.
BK: What else are you doing in addition to NFT?
Jenny: I’m doing a weekly talk show ‘The NFT Art Show with Jenny’ in the WazirX Community on Clubhouse Audio App.
