YRs partnering with Philadelphia Veterans Comfort House

My name is Bryan Leib and I am publishing this on behalf of the Philadelphia Young Republicans.

I am participating in a canned food drive for the Philadelphia Veterans Comfort House (PVCH) and am asking my neighbors if they would consider contributing canned goods to this cause. In addition, the PVCH is also asking that people donate new toiletries (shampoo, toothbrush/paste, disposable razors, deodorant, lotion, soap, shaving cream, hair brush/combs etc), socks, scarves/gloves, undershirts (M-XL), underwear (M-XL), and non-perishable foods.

If you are willing to contribute to this cause, we can arrange a pickup. We are delivering the canned food items on Veterans Day (November 11th) and are asking that all donations be dropped off by November 8th at the latest.

PVCH is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves as a short-term transitional housing program for homeless veterans. PVCH offers the opportunity for homeless veterans to have a place to feel at home, find some peace, and have an advocate in their corner while awaiting long-term housing. While veterans are staying at PVCH, they work diligently to provide them with resources to begin advocating for their own needs. PVCH connects them with resources that provide education, help with filing claims for benefits, and veteran employment agencies. The PVCH goal is to let these veterans know they are not alone in their fight, we are here, standing right beside them, continuing to fight and advocate for them.

Thank you in advance for contributing to this great cause. Please know that all donations will go to those who have served us and now need our help the most.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
