Golfer Smylie Kaufman’s endorsement deal with Natty Light is groundbreaking

I didn’t think it was possible. I didn’t believe it when I first saw the tweet, but golly gee professional golfer Smylie Kaufman did it. He became the biggest bro in all of sports, maybe in all the world, with the signing of a groundbreaking Natty Light endorsement contract.
This is an unprecedented power move by Kaufman that is unlike anything the PGA Tour has ever seen. Tour players generally reserve their sponsorships for things like Vineyard Vines, Titleist, Rolex, large corporate companies, etc. In fact, the only three alcohol sponsors of the PGA Tour are Grey Goose, Michelob Ultra, and O’douls (Annheuser Busch’s non-alcoholic beer). Now AB has a popular young golfer who is sporting the logo of not only one of their most popular products, but one of the highest selling beers in the USA. Natty Light sold $337.7 million worth of beer last year which is good for the sixth most purchased beer across the Land of the Free.
The student bodies of the SEC are just going to just eat this Smyle Kaufman stuff up. As the Schmozone’s presiding SEC Lord, I can tell you that all the visor wearing frat bros of the Southeast are going to love this. Kaufman is also an alum of LSU so Tigerland is going to go nuts over the Natty this coming school year.

This is far from Kaufman’s first public act of being a bro. He notably took part in a famous vacation in the Bahamas with Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler.
He also is quite popular on his own SnapChat where he can frequently be seen using his golf clubs as a microphone as he mimics golf commentators during practice rounds. His SnapChat is “smylie_kaufman” so give him a follow if you’re into that kind of thing.
