The family members of Zahra Jalilian, a doctoral student of Tehran University, whose “suicide” was reported in December last year, say that her suicide is not true. Because the forensic doctor has confirmed “severe blows to the liver and kidney and rupture of the spleen” of this 32-year-old girl.

The lawyer of this citizen’s family told “Etemad” newspaper: “What has become evident to me from the conversation with her parents and objective and tangible observations is that the deceased definitely did not commit suicide.”

The suspicious death of this elite electrical engineering student of Tehran University happened at the same time as anti-government protests, and the security of the university is not willing to provide the CCTV footage related to the day of the incident.
