Re the 10% figure. Good question, Jacob. The number might actually be higher, but the real point is that while many tech workers live in San Francisco, most of them work down the Peninsula — which is why we have the issue of the “Google buses.” Because Mountain View and Santa Clara and Sunnyvale have refused to build housing, we have become a bedroom community and bear the costs.
