Agree. I’d say context matters, too, though. It’s HARD, if not impossible, to always stick to an interval training approach. I mean all a runner did was run intervals, he/she would probably get injured. So, there’s a time in a place for deep focus work. My coauthor and I go into a lot more detail on this in the book. Hope you consider reading it!
