Blame Your Lousy Internet on Poles
Susan Crawford

Susan is once again at teh forefront of tackling the key issues confronting community broadband and incumbent resistence (a gentle term for their assaults), noting that access to the poles for competitive providers is the largest market hurdle in entering a community with an idea of providing competition to the monopolies. The link to the State Broadband Office’s petition to focus on CT’s excellent “municipal gain statute” is a good read, but I can report that the opposition to our petition is fierce and will be unrelenting over the next few years of nearly daily battle on every possible issue that can be raised,(real or merely frivolous. Thx for the support, Susan!
