Every fullback (Lahm and Alaba mostly) Pep ever “transformed” was a traditional fullback before Pep though. Lahm was only ever “versatile” in the sense that he sometimes also played at Left-Back during his long career (which is hardly rare in modern football) and the way you’ve described Kyle Walker is how anyone would have described Alaba before Pep. Danilo however is more versatile than either of the two were before Pep managed at Bayern as he’s even been deployed in midfield before.
