Hello World: Introducing the Yodruggist Blog.

Last month, I announced the launch of the Yodruggist blog to the world.

Since then, I’ve set up Yodruggist Digital as the parent company to oversee the Yodruggist brands. And I felt I won’t be doing justice to the blog if I don’t write about it here.

So if you haven’t heard anything about it yet, allow me to introduce you to Yodruggist.

Everything you need to know about the Yodruggist blog.

So what’s Yodruggist all about?

Good question.

Yodruggist is a blog that is on a mission to educate you about drugs. It will empower you with knowledge that’ll enable you to manage your health better.

The blog is part commonsensical, part educational.

I am currently the only author of the blog. And when it comes to the content, I draw deeply from the lessons and experience I’ve accumulated while practising as a pharmacist in South Africa.

The blog isn’t focused on educating health professionals, but the layperson.

As a consumer, you’re exposed to drugs on daily basis. As such, it’s wise to educate yourself about them. I take it as my responsibility to share credible information about drugs with you.

For now, there will be one or two blog posts published a month. But this will eventually be scaled up to 1–2 articles per week depending on the demand and traffic.

In case you wondering, the name Yodruggist is taken from ‘your druggist’ as in ‘your pharmacist’.

So why was the Yodruggist blog launched?

Good question.

Drugs are part of our lives whether we like it or not.

Drugs are vital because they enrich our lives. But with the lack of right information, drugs can be dangerous, and lead to fatal consequences. So my sole focus with Yodruggist as a blog is to provide genuine information about drugs. And to fulfill the promise of health education on the internet.

But enough about the details for now.

Head over to the blog and let me know what you think. If you like the content, look for the email form and subscribe to the blog.

So far I’ve written articles on:

Have a look at them. They’re eye-openers.
