There is an excellent BBC 4 programme called Colour: The Spectrum of Science, which looks at many things but covers our fascination with blue whilst the most prolific colour we ever see in our sky’s and oceans. Blue, is the one of the rarest colour’s in nature and geology. This impacts us in deep and emotional ways it represents everything we think of about our planet yet can rarely touch with the hand.
