…oh, and you can really stuff that rhetoric about giving free users a feature. The feature was always that you could *choose* for whom you showed up, and if you had extended that ability to free users then that would actually have matched what you’re desicribing, but you’re not. That would only be true if the visits were still visible and you could see who took enough of an interest to at least visit your profile.

With visitors gone, *no-one* gets that data point any more. If you wanted to do what you’re lying about in that text you could have:

a) given all users the ability to browse invisibly.
b) given all users the ability to hide their visit lists.
c) both of the above.

Instead, you’ve *removed* two features from A-list: the ability to see who took enough of an interest in the profile, and the ability to not show that level of interest; and you’ve *removed* one feature from free users: the ability to see who took an interest in the account.

Describing it as anything other than a drastic reduciton in site functionality is nothing short of lying your ass off.
