when I listen about the question How to win friends or How to influence people, then the principle which came into my mind is “ Become genuinely interested in other people” which I picked after reading Dale Carnegie’s book How to Win friends and influence people. He talked about the skills which we can develop to improve our social lives. He talked about the people skills, communication skills, how we can use these skills to take attentions of others .How we should interact with other people?. How we can influence people? How we can win hearts?. It’s all about how much we are interested in other people.If you really want to be interested in other people you should first stay true to your self, fake feelings will never work. Make them feel special. When you talk to someone try to talk about themselves and believe me they will automatically taking interest in you, they will come close to you. We all love attention, we are people after all. If someone would like to know more about us, we would be more than happy to share your life stories if asked in the right manner. If it goes wrong,we would shut them out right away and carry on with our life.So it is very important that the conversation must be in positive manner otherwise results will never be fruitful. We can’t divide people in categories People are people, they all have something amazing about their life which they would like to share. we just have to make sure that they can trust you and they will come up with exciting conversation and their life stories.
After taking the main theme from the Book “How to win friends and influence people”. I practice it in my daily conversations with my fellows, siblings and even during my phone calls. I talked about themselves and asked many question about their daily routines , studies, and next future plans.One thing that is very interesting which I practice during this activity to find out the real out comes is that I practice it with the fellows that were not mostly interacting with me and I was not too much interesting with those fellows and believe me the results were astonishing it’s all according to my expectations. When I start conversation and asked about their plans and routines I faced many reactions from other side. Some of my friends were very happy and some make fun of this sudden change.But the over all experience was pretty awesome and fruitful. I learned how I can influence other people and how I can make friends.
