What is Pomodoro?

Pomodoro is a technique that we can use to relax our mind after some intense work. Pomodoro is an effective technique by using it one can increase his/her productivity level.When we are doing some task continously after some time our body needs some relaxation but we didn’t care and keep going on.This is not a good practice, in this case our mind becomes messy and we feel mentally disturbed. For example if we are sitting before laptop and keep sitting and working without any break, it will demage our eyesight as well as decrease our level of productivity we can’t be able to performe work in well mannered way. After some intense work a normal person must need mental relaxation and that will come by using the technique of pomodoro. Pomodoro technique will divide your whole task in small chunks and after completing each chunk you will take a short break, that will refresh your mind to do a great job. After using this technique we will feel our work is more enjoyable and can be easy to do.

How we can Conduct Pomodoro practically?

Let’s reveal the idea of pomodoro and try to follow it practically.

1. Decide on the task to be done (for example, Memorizing Notes).

2. Set the pomodoro timer (alarm) to 25 minutes.

3. Work on the task until the timer rings. If a distraction pops into your head, write it down.

4. After the timer tings, put a a tick on a piece of paper.

5. Take a short 5 minute break, You can do some (relaxing exercises, take cup of tea, bite of chocolate) etc.

6.Repeat these 1–5 steps.

7. After you have 4 ticks on your paper, you can take a longer break (15–20 minutes), and continue working on your task by going to step 1 until you complete your task.

My Experience with Pomodoro:

I have already habit of taking rest for sometime during study or during any other task because I can’t perform it consistently. Sometime unconsciuosly I start thinking irrelevant things, suffering web and social media
 these distractions waste my time and I can’t perform my work with full attention.Now when I found that technique from amal academy and perform it practically.I take Notes and start memorizing for mid exams, 25 minute alarm distract me but because i can’t complete my full paragraph so I feel some problem. But when I start doing again and again, I amazed it really works because I start doing things withing a given deadline as well as in more enjoyable way. Now I’m feeling fresh and energetic as before starting the task.


Here I want to give you a suggestion, If you really want to adopt this habit then try to be clear in which time of day or night you are more productive and play with Pomodoro ,when you will use this technique in that time when you are more productive your will automatically see a dramatic change in your productivity level.
