Mike,

Only if it somehow helps to ease the pain of the torturous dungeon Vietnam, I would be grateful to read more about your experiences, thoughts, fears, and angers from that period in your life.

I was born in 1964 and as such could not have had any participation in the conflict. But for most of my adult life I have felt an odd kind of connection to something about Vietnam. I want to say it has to do more with the emotional shit-storm so many of our military personnel were forced to endure. Although I can never know or experience it, I sometimes try to image being in the midst of the battle and what it was that went through the mind of the man behind the M16. Or God forbidden when your down to having to use your .45 as a last resort.

If nothing more comes, I still thank you for what you have already written. And thank you for your service to our country; I am grateful as, I am sure, are many others that read your work.
