Alcoa Foundation Grant — Rolling DEADLINE

Who’s it for? 501c3’s or the international equivalent in Arkansas; Indiana; Louisiana; New York; North Carolina; Texas; Washington, and over 20 countries around the world

What programs are eligible? Education programs supporting STEM education and workforce training as well as environmental programs that drive measurable and systematic improvements in environmental sustainability

How much? 2015 grants ranged from $5,000 to $450,000 USD

Clif Bar Family Foundation Small Grants — DEADLINE 1 June 2017

Who’s it for? Innovative small and mid-sized 501c3s in the US

What programs are eligible? Programs with measurable goals that strengthen food systems and communities, enhance public health, and safeguard the environment and natural resources

How much? Approximately US $7,000 USD

NOAA’s Great Lakes Bay Watershed Education & Training Program — DEADLINE 2 June 2017

Who’s it for? Groups in the Great Lakes region including: New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin

What programs are eligible? Programs for student experiences and professional development for teachers that encourage meaningful watershed educational experiences

How much? US $25,000 — US $75,000 USD

Who’s it for? U.S. nonprofit organizations or equivalents outside of the U.S

What programs are eligible? Programs that preserve and protect outdoor places and introduce new audiences to the outdoors through responsible outdoor participation
