Your Mindset Creates It All Or Kills It

One of the most frustrating and heavy feelings in our lives is that moment when we hit a plateau and the feeling of stagnation settles within us. Growth suddenly looks risky and getting out of our comfort zone becomes harder than ever. Most people just get comfortable being uncomfortable.

What if we could identify and tackle the issue at its root by simply fixing our mindset. Our mindset can make us or break us and although there are numerous writings on positive thinking, most of us do not actually practice it.

Who are you? How do you define yourself? How do you perceive yourself? What are you trying to achieve? What legacy would you like to leave? These are questions we should have answers to with a big vision in mind. Marianne Williamson, a bestseller author and a spiritual teacher, puts it brilliantly:

“We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.”

Indeed, if we could truly believe in our greatness, we would use our time to master our craft. We would not be afraid to take risks and we would constantly seek the highest possible outcome in our ventures. Trusting and knowing that we would succeed triggers us to push ourselves and ultimately leads to growth.

Lewis Howes recently said: “Your mind must arrive at your destination before your life does” and nothing could be more true. It resonated so loud with me that its now hanging on my bathroom mirror. Seeing your destination and feeling it happening is the key to taking inspiring actions to achieve them.
