My Favorite Bloggers — Side Income Edition

Becoming Wellthy | My Favorite Side Income Bloggers

Before I started blogging, I spent a lot of time reading a ton of blogs in my reader. Most of the inspiring ones were from bloggers who actually made money from their blog. Their niches are across the board — they aren’t all financial related blogs. So when I decided to share my thought on wellth with you, I became inspired by the bloggers I have listed here.

You can also see more financial bloggers to follow and read when you join the Wellthy Community — the list is always being updated and you will be notified anytime it changes!

Wellthy Resources Content

Smart Passive Income — Pat is a rockstar! He has an amazing podcast, an awesome community and a lot of stokes in the passive income fire. Although I would love to get up to the level he is at, I know it will take a lot of hard HARD work to get there. Either way, he has really great advice on how to make money and work for yourself. In March alone, he made $150,616.15. #Goals!

Melyssa Griffin ~ Formally called The Nectar Collective, Melyssa started her blog while she was living overseas and teaching. She provides a huge amount of information on how to make your blog a business, and she is so much fun to watch when she does her webinars. I highly recommend you check her out and sign up for her resource library. It is filled with so many informative things for you to read and use. In March 2016, Melyssa made $103,521!

Making Sense of Cents — Michelle was one of the first blogs I came across that shared income reports, and she is an incredible inspiration. Michelle shares money making, saving and hustling ideas on her blog, and she is such a nice person, too! In March 2016, Michelle made $72,196! Her and her husband now travel around the country and live and work out of their RV. I love it!

Just A Girl and Her Blog — Abby is also another blogger I first started following, and it was mostly due to her awesome DIY projects she completes! She has another blog now that focuses just on making money with your blog, which is definitely worth checking out as well. Her ebook, Building A Framework, was an essential part of how my blog came about. Her book walked me through everything I needed to get my blog going, and I still reference it today. In February 2016, Abby made $31,292!

The Busy Budgeter — Rosemarie blogs about money, budgeting and all things frugal living. She has a growing Facebook community and all her posts are so helpful and informative. In March 2016, she made $12,484.68!

Believe in a Budget — Kristin also talks about money, as well as how to make your blog work for you. I remember when she posted her first monthly income report and it was $60. Now in March 2016, she made $5,041.85, and this was just one year after her first blog report!

Kori at Home — Kori is a mom blogger, and the focus of her blog is encouraging mothers with special needs children. She also blogs about blended families and their own health and wellness journey. In February 2016, she made $1,049.35

Simple Living Mama — Joanie writes about all things simple living on her blog. She shares tips on homeschooling, homemaking, recipes and saving. In March 2016, she made $665.06. And she is about to have baby #5!!

Everyone Starts Somewhere

All of these bloggers started from zero. It is inspiring to watch their blogs and businesses grow, and I am happy to be a part of their community. If you are interested in starting a blog, I encourage you to read a few of their posts and just get started! Like I always say, where is the harm in trying?

And now onto my blog income report! I know I post my side income report monthly, but none of that income includes blog income since I am just starting out. It includes all my side hustles and non salary related income. I didn’t include this in my actual income report, because I haven’t collected it yet. Drumroll, please…..

$3.30!

Woot woot!! I have made $3.00 in affiliate income, and $0.30 in ad income. Watch out world!
