Mining EVA Guide

Here’s a quick step-by-step guide for newbies on how to mine $EVA by beecastle.cc

Getting started with Evanesco mainnet mining is now easier than ever. You’ll only need a miner and an Evanesco Fortress wallet address to receive your mining reward.

Step 1: Log in Fortress to stake mining

Note: EVA mainnet needs 6000 EVAs to stake as a mining node or you can its “Borrow” function to borrow a mining node with interest paid.

Step 2: Download and Set up a Miner

Download in github release.

Step 3: Join Beecastle

Click here to join us and win extra reward daily !

To join Beecastle for the first time, you need to import a staked miner account as the main account in Beecastle Mining Pool by the Connect Fortress Wallet button.

Each user can only have one main account, but multiple sub-accounts can be added and managed through the main account using the Account Management button. After the add sub account operation is successfully completed, the coinbase address needs to be changed to the mining pool coinbase address, which is 0x22A3E2774D2c638Efe90D3E869EeDeFd22e704a8 .

Please keep in mind that you cannot delete the main account address in Beecastle Mining Pool, otherwise you will lose the rewards of the main account and all sub-accounts under its management.

Step 4: Start the Miner

Run the commands to start the miner by running the miner.exe file. After a while, you’ll be able to find your account on our Beecastle Mining Pool

MacOS

./miner mine --url ws://18.117.18.15:7778

Linux

./miner mine --url ws://18.117.18.15:7778

Windows

./miner.exe mine --url ws://18.117.18.15:7778

Note Again:

Remember that you have to use a staked mining address when mining with our Beecastle Mining pool, otherwise, you will not receive your reward.

Mining Cost Analysis

There are 3 cost pre-requires for users to mine in EVA mainnet (Take one node as an example)

1.Staking Cost

6000 EVAs are required for becoming a mining node in Fortress. If you already have a mining node before launching the mainnet, only 3000 EVAs are required. Of course, you can withdraw the stakes once the staking period ends.

2. Equipment Cost

A PC is required for mining.

Recommended mining configuration parameter:

Mining Node: single-core 2Ghz CPU, 4G memory, 10G hard disk, 10Mbps bandwidth.

3. Electricity bill

The electricity bill for using a PC to run the EVA mining program.

As the income calculated by last 24 hours, the average income per node on Beecastle is 44EVA per day. If you staked 3000 AVSs on AVIS testnet, you are able to earn back around 2 months. If you staked 6000 EVAs on the EVA mainnet, the recovery cost is approximately 4 months for you.

After recovering the stake cost through Beecastle you are still able to receive about 44EVAs every day, which means deducting equipment cost and electricity bills the EVA income will keep growing.

Beecastle joined Evanesco’s Grant project, hoping to push the EVA ecosystem to continue developing and increasing EVA price to bring EVA users sustained mining revenue.
