So Easy Even You Could Do It

Ever wanted to call yourself a home brewer? Have you ever desired to join the gilded ranks of that prestigious title? Good news!!!! For those cheaters and peasants alike, Sodastream has just announced it’s newest invention. Some background, Soda stream makes at home sparkling water dispensers. You put in the carbonated water and the flavor you want and bam you get flavored sparkling water. They have decided it would be a “good” idea to expand into the beer market as well. Same concept different ingredients, you get a 1 liter bottle of beer concentrate in essence and pour that into the machine bada boom bada bing home brewing for dummies. 1 liter of concentrate equals about 3 liters of beer. So far they just have a blonde at around 4.5 percent ABV.

They say the end product even tastes like real beer. Is your favorite beer Bud Light Platinum? Do you drink Pabst Blue Ribbon on the regular? Do you vape? then this product might just be for you. Have your friends over and pull some of your “home brewed” beer out of the closet where you keep this thing and impress all of your other hipster friends with the beer that you will say you brewed yourself here at home. No of course you can’t see my brewing set up it’s super secret. Do I think this invention is a good idea? Yes. I think it will do it’s job, being that it sells a lot. Do I think it is a monstrosity and won’t be taken seriously by lovers of real craft beer? Also yes. This is easy and probably a ton cheaper than really brewing the beer like for real. For those that don’t speak German, that says beer concentrate under the blondie part. The only beer concentrate I recognize is an Eisbock. Topic for another time.
