This too shall pass
Tattoos always have a story behind it, whether it be something deep or just a fun memory of you going to get it done. This next tattoo feature is of Michalea, a student living in the North Shore area.
Tattoos have never been something Michaela has put much thought into getting. When she got the idea for this one there was no looking back because of how much it meant.
During Michael’s sophmore year of college she was going through a rough period in her personal life. Once her brother got word of the way she was feeling he decided to do the one of the only things he could given his situation. Her brother is in prison and is in touch almost everyday with Michaela, but what he did meant so much more than a phone call.
Michaela’s brother wrote some inspiring words for her and sent it in to her in the mail. The letter consisted of negative feelings that were then followed with the saying “this too shall pass.” Michaela said, “If he can get through being away from our family, then I can have the strength to get through whatever I’m going through.
