Yesterday, Bloomlife, a spin-off of Belgian nanoelectronics research center IMEC, won the Extreme Tech Challenge on Necker Island! The journey started back in October when over 2,000 startups applied for the elite competition. Bloom advanced to the final three startups after a pitch competition at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January which earned them a spot pitching in front of Richard Branson on his private Caribbean island.

The team’s revolutionary pregnancy monitor and a winning presentation by co-founder Eric Dy earned them the top spot from the jury.
