The journey continues.
Engineers, the behind the scenes machine that often gets lost or forgotten. Today we are featuring our very hard working engineering team, this is just an example of the hard work they put in every single day. Last night our engineering team stayed behind until 4am to adjust the platform and to complete pending work due on a tight timeline. It’s not easy working against the clock, however, commitment to the project has to be present as is keeping clear objectives in mind. Hugo and Yeudiel set this discipline who worked until sunrise to automate the flow for BBI purchase and improving the flow on the platform’s dashboard to create a more user-friendly experience.
Working overtime and past office hours is something very common around here, we need the right drive and that’s why we have Maty!
Our colleague Maty, who is in charge of Human Resources?, has maintained our focus in each one of our goals we have planned out. Every week, on Tuesdays there are different objectives and speaks to everyone and discusses daily our advances while maintaining harmony between our personal and work lives. Below we’ve asked Maty to answer a couple questions on her work with the project.
Q: How do you contribute within your area to BelugaPay’s ICO?
R: My major input is to maintain an on going conversation with each member of the team, to set an objective of focus so all members point in the same direction and all without neglecting one’s personal wellbeing.
Q: What do you love most about your job?
R: I love building communication with all talents and generating confidence.
Q: What challenges do you face in your daily work?
R: The impact of change for a company reaching nationally to globally implies a different way of thinking. Little by little we have to amplify our expectations and mental limitations that we impose on ourselves.
With the growth of the company, increases the possibilities of professional development for the team, in which we need to maintain motivation in the process.
Moving a team with distinct traits and maintain their focus is a great responsibility and it’s very important to have this person assisting in any type of team. If you are considering in embarking in a similar project, I highly recommend having some coverage in this area.

On the operational side of things, we’ve received a surplus of credit and debit card readers, ready to be opened for new customers. We’re looking ahead into a bright future where all forms of payment can be covered so that the merchant can close deals on the spot and give the client a payment experience that is comfortable, safe and fast.
That is why it is our ICO’s mission to implement cryptocurrency with an internal application. This will give the merchant the option to accept payment with a credit card present (with the help of a reader), receive payment by transfer and to offer payment via cryptocurrency.
We’re currently in the process of creating new videos in collaboration with clients that have been working over 2 years on our live payment processor, in which we will explain the use of Beluga Pay. This demonstrates important logistics, the operations side of things and execution of direction, which we’re very excited to share with everyone.
A good work practice, although you might not agree, is leisure. A practice that eliminates some pressure and on occasion amplifies our thinking. As a result of the FIFA qualifiers announced yesterday, we’ve been following matters in the soccer world and keeping our heads high for our national Mexican team. Unfortunately, who for them played terribly and lost against Honduras. Like once was said by former Argentinian national player Jorge Valdano, “Soccer is the most important between things that matter the least”
To not lose focus and to be surrounded by the right people at the right time generates the perfect formula.
We will continue to deliver content that will strengthen confidence in new entrepreneurs.
