It’s a really good question. My immediate thought would be to encourage people to use all of the free, online resources to learn new/relevant skills. Or stop promoting college (expensive, 4-yr universities) as the only option and start promoting cheap/free vocational schools where people can learn a skill for a year or two and then be competent in coding or something and get a job.

An interesting question indeed — maybe good fodder for a future post. Thanks for the great discussion :)
