On Kindness

As our hearts are exposed to, and sometimes even drenched by, the evil that often surrounds us, pounds us, and nearly drowns us, it’s easy to absorb the flavors of hatred, anger and rage. Yet, I detected none of those in your writing, nor within the heart of your mom.

I felt privileged to just to sit next to you and smell the coast once again, as I listened to so many of the intimate moments which have sculpted your heart. I loved your honest reflections of what you see there, what you’ve stored there, what you treasure most.

What we do with the injustices of life is determined by the simple turn of a ruder, your rudder is very strong. Your mom must be justifiably proud of you, that will give her strength.
