There is Great Power in Story

I have a story to tell, but it’s not really my story, and it is more than one story. It is the story of a loving Heavenly Father who took the time to hug a hurting child, who did not consider himself too busy to love an abused, confused, and terrorize child, a little orphan who cried out in fear and shame every day. A child who had been abandoned, warehoused, adopted, then rejected weeks later by his mentally ill adopting mom who daily threatened to kill him. Even worse, she told him that God was someday going to kill him.

I have just one goal, one mission, one great passion, to touch the broken hearted and lead them closer to Jesus Christ. I want to encourage them to trust just one more time, to trust a Savior they can not see, to trust a love they may have never known so that they can have a life that they could never imagine. I want to invite them to put their hand in His for eternity.

I connect well with those who love God, and those who think they don’t. I’ve been trained by living in the foxholes of life. I am not a fancy suit sort of guy, I am just a sinner who has a remarkable story, a genuine connection to people, forged in a struggle for life itself. I have a simple approach to encouraging others.
