2023 Toronto Raptors Summer League Schedule

Viva Las Vegas! The Toronto Raptors will suit up for its 15th appearance in the annual NBA Summer League, where teams consisting of their young players and invitees make up a 15-player roster and compete in a tournament with the rest of the 30-team NBA before training camp.

It’s the real start of the 2023-24 season, and seeing your new pick in action for the first time wearing the team’s jersey.

The tournament runs from July 7 to July 17 and each team will play at least five games, with four already scheduled.

After playing the four matches, the top four teams will compete in the semifinals on Sun., July 16. If you aren’t in the semifinals, you will play a fifth match on Sat., July 15 or Sun., July 16.

The final two teams face off on Mon., July 17 for the highly coveted championship trophy and the contested most valuable player.

Let’s get into the four scheduled games for the Toronto Raptors at Summer League.

Game 1: Chicago Bulls (Jul. 7–6:30pm ET)

The Raptors will get everything started with a battle against the Chicago Bulls, kicking off Summer League on opening night. The Bulls only selected once in the 2023 NBA Draft, Julian Phillips from Tennessee. It’ll be broadcast on NBA TV.

Game 2: Cleveland Cavaliers (Jul. 9–3:30pm ET)

The second bout is the first game of the third day, tipping off in the afternoon at 3:30pm (ET). The Cavs waited until pick 47 and their star in Summer League is Emoni Bates out of Eastern Michigan. It’ll be broadcast on NBA TV.

Toronto will have two off days in Las Vegas before completing their third game, arguably the toughest of the set thus far as the Raptors will battle with fifth-overall pick Ausar Thompson out of Overtime Elite. It’ll be broadcast on ESPN 2.

Game 4: Brooklyn Nets (Jul. 13–5:00pm ET)

To complete the four-game set against Eastern Conference opposition, the Raptors will end their scheduled fixtures with a game against the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets had a solid draft, picking Noah Clowney (21), Dariq Whitehead (22) and Jalen Wilson (Kansas — 51). It’ll be broadcast on ESPN 2.
