History

San Diego, originally known as San Miguel, was discovered by Spanish Explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo in 1542. In 1602, Spanish Explorer Sebastian Vizcaino renamed the area to San Diego after the first Catholic service was held on California soil on the feast day of San Diego de Alcala. This town was under the rulership of Mexico in 1834 until California was acquired by the United States in 1846. California was granted statehood in 1850 and San Diego was named as the county seat of San Diego County. The population grew quickly during and immediately after World War II. Aside from agriculture and fishing, the city also expanded its traditional economic base to manufacturing. Eventually, other industries such as shipbuilding, electronics and aerospace technology, also helped the economy.

How To Make The Perfect Landing Page

This blog post discusses some pointers on how to create an effective landing page. It talks about the technique “keeping it above the fold” — meaning web visitors should be able to learn about the company/business even without having to scroll all throughout the page. The writer also suggests to add a call-to-action button, like “Share” or “Add to Cart”, in the same area. These call-to-action buttons should be easy to locate to ensure your business gets many conversions. It also reminds readers that simplicity is key. No need for flashy design or anything extra. To make your business look more professional, you should also look after your content’s grammar. I also liked the list of colors and how the writer enumerated which industry the color will most likely fit.
