Guide to Legends of Venari
Are you at a loss playing Legends of Venari? No worries, everyone gets the insights now:)

This guide will compile some of the most important things to remember while playing Legends of Venari. For a more in-depth explanation of the project including account creation and user interface, please refer to the introduction video and the Discord!
TLDR
The first objective is to get to Tecta World level 4, after which you will obtain the Odus rig in LIRA to level and catch higher tier Venaris more efficiently.
After that, you will transition to distributing 2–3 gold/level farm regions and 1–2 tier farm regions. In the gold/level farm regions, you will only use tier 1 baits (500g baits in City of Tecta), and in the selected tier farm regions, you can deploy the 2,800g baits if you are not short on coins and eager for higher tier Venaris, see the picture below for an example setup where two regions are used for farming gold/exp and three for higher tier Venaris;)

You can rinse and repeat this process along your way while you make your way through Caerras to and in the higher regions.

Starting out in Caerras
The game’s objective in its current state is to progress through the regions and catch as many Venaris as you would like, ranging from rare ones to your personal favorites. In the latter part of the alpha stage, you will be able to level your Venaris with lower-tier ones, so it is good to build your army as you go;)
In order to do so, you will have to manage your resources and work efficiently to maximize the value from your baits.
The first objective is to get to Tecta World level 4 – dark blue level in the top left of your game’s tab by clicking on your light blue “player level,” – after which you will be able to get the Odus rig in the LIRA region.
You want to obtain this tier 1 rig as soon as possible to increase your farming capabilities by increasing your chance to catch lower- and higher-tier Venaris.
I recommended one rig instead of multiple, as you may have noticed. The Odus rig is a general rig you can use for any type of Venari, whereas the Allum/Lyrium rigs are specialized in farming certain Venaris through the “fight/play” actions in expeditions. As of the patch on 7 January, only the Odus rig will be necessary if you want to catch rare Venaris as well as power level (which will be discussed below) to the higher stages. However, in the end, you will want to purchase all three rigs.
What to focus on early on (different types of farming)
There are two different types of farming that I will discuss for early gameplay: power leveling/gold farming, and tier 2 farming.
Note that you do not have to add bait to the expedition minigame itself if you do not plan to feed the Venari!
Also, note that you should always have at least four tier 1 baits (500g) to ensure that you do not run out of resources. This key resource management element should always be followed to ensure that you do not have to utilize the direct energy to berry conversion at a terrible rate.
Each type of farming will be deployed in all of your available regions simultaneously. So, when you start out, you will deploy an expedition in both the City of Tecta and the Glowing Forest. You will cycle through each region as the expeditions finish their 15-minutes timer and maximize the potential gain by doing so. Once you unlock the next region, you will continue with this same idea but add the specific region to it (so once you reach word level 2, you will cycle through the City of Tecta, Glowing Forest, and Tecta Slums as your baits complete the 15-minutes timer).
Firstly, the power leveling and gold farming technique means that you will try to rush to the higher regions as soon as you can by using cheap tier 1 baits as bait and always fully depleting your energy on 2-cost expeditions. You can initiate an expedition as soon as a Venari pops up or wait for the full 15-minutes timer if you are low on energy anyway (as there is no way to increase energy recharge). This will maximize your experience gain at the lowest possible cost. Note that if you want to catch higher tier Venaris simultaneously, you would have to wait for the 15-minutes timer to ensure you do not miss any.
The setup will look something like this:
Some people have asked me why I recommend hunting in more than one region; this is to increase your chances of attracting different Venaris as well as increase the efficiency (both time and gold gain wise) while hunting.

See the table below for an example of a perfect action sequence for Aerus.

Tier farming is not recommended currently in the Alpha season as many tier 2s have already reached the population cap so only provide essence and no experience/gold.
Secondly, the tier 2 farming technique means you focus on buying the 2,800g baits instead of tier 1 baits to maximize the potential of encountering higher tier Venaris. You will deploy these baits in each region; however, utilizing the first farming method to farm enough coins beforehand will be necessary. The table of recommended actions will still be the same, but I suggest looking at the DLS guild spreadsheet for more in-depth action sequences.
Transitioning to the higher regions
Once you reach Tecta world level 7, you will gain access to the Ayena region where you will encounter new types of Venari. To improve farming efficiency, you will have to purchase the upgraded Odus rig for 10,000g that is now available in the Ayena shop.
Moreover, you will rinse and repeat the previously mentioned techniques until you reach Ayena world level 5, granting you access to the Mirala Facility region. This will open up a new shop with even higher tier baits than LIRA. The next goal is to reach Ayena World level 6, which grants you access to the Auric Grasslands where you can purchase tier 3 rigs. After this, you will be able to continue your journey in Ayena or decide to travel back to Tecta with your new and improved rigs/baits to catch all the higher tier Venaris;)
I hope that this somewhat lengthy guide will be able to help you in your journey through Caerras! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to @ me in the discord (@bestpwnz#0531).
Happy hunting!
