I want to start by saying “thank you” to Ms. Ross. She is amazing! Every time I feel sad or upset or even a mix of all emotions, I know I can come to her to rant or to just sit and color. She makes not only me but all students feel welcome and safe.

In my experiences with Ms. Ross, I can say that she has helped me change into the person I am today. When I first moved to Georgia about two years ago, I was mad and sad, but because of Ms. Ross, I am happy and feel joyful all the time. She has helped me find out who I really am and helped me embrace it.

When my little sister came asking about a club we didn’t have, Ms. Ross immediately created it and helped Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) grow into the fun, loving, and overall supportive club it is today. She is an amazing counselor and definitely deserves to be the School Counselor of The Year. So I will say it again, “Thank you, Ms. Ross!” from not only me, but all the students at Five Forks Middle School. We love you!
