This sentence is problematic: “Longer sentences doesn’t make you look smarter.”
It should read, “Longer sentences DON’T make you look smarter.” Or, alternatively, “Writing long sentences won’t make you look smarter.”
If you give writing advice, make sure your writing is correct.
