Narcos Season 1 Review
- Narcos is the story of Pablo Escobar which is better than most of the fictional characters ever written. Have this Netflix series done a good job in presenting it? The answer is yes and no. This series could be 5 seasons longer but they cramped the whole rise and fall in one series and haven’t given the closure in this first series itself. In my opinion the series could be made in 5 parts .
- Pablo Escobar childhood
- Foray into drugs
- Raise of Pablo Escobar
- Building of the jail and escape
- Death and fall of Escobar.
If not they should have completed everything in one series.
OK let’s jump into the review of the series itself . It’s the narrative of the US DEA agent who was stationed in Columbia during the Pablo’s era, But I suppose they portrayed the US role bigger than it actually was in many other instances ,as Hollywood had taken this liberty in many other cases . US is a dominant force in capturing Pablo so we cannot take that from them.
Overall Netflix has done a good job bringing the Pablo’s life to the screens.
