I agree with the “electrification” of everything, but the only technology with the energy density to produce electricity for current and rapidly growing global demand is nuclear. In particular, an array of Gen IV reactors being funded/considered by various governments around the world. There is a boatload of research, arguments, and debates to be found on this topic, so I won’t rehash or engage in it here. After doing my own extensive reading on the topic, I’m convinced that modern nuclear technology is the only realistic way to meet global electricity needs.
