#ConferenceCallConfessions: Driving While Dialing

In my last gig, I was a WebEx power user and I was commuting 90 minutes to work–each way. *UGH* (I know.) 90 minutes is a solid chunk of time to be doing work–even if I can’t email, I can certainly discuss action items with colleagues and provide status reports on projects. Naturally, like many other multi-tasking individuals, I wanted to try to use some of this time and put it to good use: by taking meetings in the car.

The ideal situation: You get in your parked car, you dial into the call, you (annoyingly) toggle back to the calendar app to quickly commit the dial in pin to memory and punch it into the line so you get on the phone line before backing out of the driveway. If you’re lucky, you can take the meeting and just hang up once it’s over during your call.

Reality: But what happens when you hit a tunnel or dead zone and your connection gets cut-off mid-sentence?

What about when you’re hoping to make it to the office for your 8am call but an accident up ahead puts you in gridlock so that you’re still in traffic by 7:57am?

Deciding Moment: Do you dial (back) in?

With Biba, you don’t need to. You just join with one click. No fumbling with unlocking your phone, finding the meeting invite, with one hand on the wheel and only one eye (if at all) on the road. < that’s dangerous–don’t do that!

Biba’s AutoCall feature calls all your devices at the start of every meeting. In fact, most of our users find that they don’t need to watch their calendars anymore–Biba keeps you on track. No more worrying about missing the start of the meeting and rushing into the conference call apologizing for being late.

What’s more, Biba calls you back. With Biba, most of our users join over VoIP. And when a call drops, Biba automatically reconnects you. Zero clicks.

And, if you have a bad network connection, Biba will suggest you dial-in, Biba will dial the number AND key in the PIN for you! All you have to do is stay on the line.

Does your meeting tool do that?
