audience: Americans and tourist

purpose: The statue represents a universal symbol of freedom and democracy.

Effectiveness: The statue of liberty was a gift form France to the united states of america to show alliance among the two newly democratic countries. The statue is of a woman Libertas, the roman goddess of freedom. She has broken shackles on her feet to show that she is no longer bound or limited. She also is holding a tablet that has inscribed the date of the american declaration of independence. The statue is 151 feet tall and is a center of attraction.

Purpose: to inspire people to achieve success

Effectiveness: Muhammad Ali is know as the greatest ever, but he wasn't born the greatest he had to work hard and become the greatest. He had to fight to win the title of heavy weight champion of the world. He didn't like training but it helped him become champion. He knew that the obstacle of training was only temporary but the success in achieving your goal last forever.
